Description
The Electro STEPS S was developed for minimalist enthusiast riders who want precise chain placement and reliable chain security on short- and mid-travel Shimano STEPS e-bikes. The compact form factor suits frames where clean integration and low weight are priorities — providing chain security on technical climbs, loose surfaces and rough descents without adding unnecessary bulk.
The backplate is manufactured from pressed 1.5 mm steel sheet — formed to shape under press, providing a stiff and durable structure suited to the higher chain forces generated by e-bike drive systems. Guide plates are moulded from high-impact polyamide (PA6). The guide mounts directly to the Shimano drive unit — no crankset or drivetrain removal required.
