The Electro GX CW was developed for e-bikes equipped with the Panasonic GX drive unit mounted in a more horizontal orientation — a configuration used by manufacturers including Flyer, Bulls and Hercules. The direct-mount interface attaches to the drive unit using 2 bolts, requiring no crankset or drivetrain removal. This keeps installation simple and servicing straightforward in the field.
The backplate is manufactured from pressed steel with a black zinc-flake coating, providing corrosion resistance suited to demanding trail conditions. Chainline is adjustable between 50 and 53 mm using the included spacers. Guide plates are moulded from high-impact polyamide (PA6).
