Description
The Molto Alloy S was developed for enduro, trail and XC riders running smaller chainrings who want reliable impact protection without an upper chain guide. It is designed as a standalone bash guard — the natural choice for frames with integrated upper guides, or for riders using a clutch derailleur on terrain that does not require full chain retention.
The backplate is CNC-machined from 7075 T651 aluminium. At 43 grams, the S version is optimised for weight-conscious trail and XC builds while delivering the structural rigidity needed to absorb impacts without deforming. The foam insert on the chainring-facing surface dampens chain contact under suspension movement and rough terrain, resulting in silent drivetrain operation — a detail that competing bash guards in this category consistently omit, treating chain noise as an acceptable trade-off.
Mounts directly to the ISCG05 frame standard using 2 bolts. No crankset removal required.
