Description

The Presto Steel was developed for riders who demand maximum drivetrain security on aggressive trails — drawing on years of collaboration with Darren Berrecloth, Vincent Tupin and Szymon Godziek. It shares the same design architecture as the Presto, with a forged steel backplate in place of aluminium, delivering enhanced stiffness and durability at 199 grams.

The bash guard uses an internal fin system to distribute impact stress across the structure rather than concentrating it at the point of contact. The smooth outer surface sheds mud effectively, keeping weight consistent even in wet conditions. In trail emergencies, the bash guard detaches with a single wrench.

Mounts to the ISCG05 standard using 3 bolts. Crankset removal is required for installation — standard procedure for full chain guide systems of this type.

The upper guide link is rubber-secured, eliminating chain noise on rough terrain. The pulley runs on a sealed machine bearing. Guide plates are moulded from high-impact polyamide (PA6). All threaded inserts are metal — a detail that directly affects long-term service life.
