Description
The Feroce Alloy L was developed for demanding enduro and downhill riding on bikes running 32–36T chainrings — the standard configuration for modern long-travel enduro and DH builds where maximum chainring coverage and drivetrain protection are required on technical descents, steep trails and rough terrain.
The L version features a longer upper cage than the S, optimised for larger chainrings and providing increased chain engagement across the full 32–36T range. The bash guard covers 25% more of the chainring and drivetrain compared to the previous generation, increasing protection against rocks, roots and boulders at speed. The chain-facing surface is made of foamed rubber, eliminating drivetrain noise on rough terrain. The backplate is CNC-machined from a single piece of 7075 T651 aluminium, delivering high rigidity suited to the demands of long-travel and DH riding. The upper cage screws to the backplate with a single 4 mm Allen key — the entire chain guide assembles and disassembles using one tool, simplifying installation and trailside maintenance. ISCG05 hardware made from stainless steel. Developed as the successor to the HXR.
