The Electro CX L is a direct-mount chain guide for Bosch Performance Line CX e-bikes (Gen 4 & Gen 5), designed for long-travel bikes (+170 mm). The enlarged guide provides increased chain coverage and stability on steep downhill and rough enduro trails.
The guide mounts directly to the Bosch drive unit using a single 4 mm Allen key — no crankset or drivetrain removal required. This keeps the setup clean, simple and easy to service.
The backplate is CNC-machined from 7075 T651 aluminium, black anodized and laser engraved. Guide plates are moulded from high-impact polyamide (PA6), delivering durability and low friction under heavy use. Weight: 24 g.
Compatible with Bosch CX motors: Gen 4 (BDU37xx family) and Gen 5 (BDU384Y, BDU386Y).

The Electro CX L was developed for Bosch Performance Line CX e-bikes ridden hard — on steep descents, rough enduro trails and high-speed sections where maximum chain security is required.
The direct-mount interface attaches to the Bosch drive unit with a single 4 mm Allen key, requiring no crankset or drivetrain removal. This keeps the system simple to install and straightforward to service in the field.
Compared to the S version, the L features an enlarged upper guide, increasing chain coverage and stability in the most demanding riding conditions. It is specifically designed for long-travel e-MTB bikes, where suspension movement and terrain intensity require additional chain control.
The backplate is CNC-machined from 7075 T651 aluminium, black anodized and laser engraved. Guide plates are moulded from high-impact polyamide (PA6), chosen for its combination of impact resistance, low friction and durability under repeated chain contact.
